AND, I'm SELECTED....!! so this is it....!!! another competition was announced when i was writing for Grapevine India's competition. a friend of mine, Nilesh.... asked me if i can submit one story for it too ?? first i accepted but then i was not so keen to write about it. he would ask me daily and i would make some or other reason and then change the topic.... just 2 days before the deadline, he called me up and said, "you ahave to write! i dont want any reasons... thats it.. no sleep today, you will finish it, mail me and then doze off!!" and i was like, "okay..." and then i 1 whole day, may be less.. 12 hrs i guess i wrote it!! the topic was - WOMEN EMPOWERMENT and the 1st woman that came into my mind was - MY MOMMY!! i wrote and wrote and worte!! by 2 AM i mailed him .docx file and msged him "i m done!! check it!! gn." and after  some days, he called me and said go and check FB. i asked him why, and he said go n c yaa!! ...

this book, compiled by Harpreet Makkar & Aparajita Dutta .... is a collection of 12 storie s...!! i wil b reviewing them all 1 by 1 :) 1) the second life - Harpreet Makkar this story is abt a girl named Shivani who is a model. she gets an offer by Mr. Rahul Mittal for his new brand and he wanted her to b a model for the same :P but she couldn't go fr the meeting on the very next day, and she is surprised on seeing him at her door in the evening with a pizza which she had ordered. and after few drinks and later followed by dinner she tells him his story. and that left him with tears in his eyes and he took her leave..!! its well written, no doubt!! the message of this story is to trust ppl. sometimes v share things wid ppl who r complete strangers to us & which we cannot wid ppl we know :) 2) time flies love stays - Neha Lalwani this story is of a girl Heer who asks her dad to tell her how he met her mom. e narrates her the details and at the en...
