Review on You, Me & Zindagi...!!

this book, compiled by Harpreet Makkar & Aparajita Dutta.... is a collection of 12 stories...!!

i wil b reviewing them all 1 by 1 :)

1) the second life - Harpreet Makkar
this story is abt a girl named Shivani who is a model. she gets an offer by Mr. Rahul Mittal for his new brand and he wanted her to b a model for the same :P
but she couldn't go fr the meeting on the very next day, and she is surprised on seeing him at her door in the evening with a pizza which she had ordered. and after few drinks and later followed by dinner she tells him his story. and that left him with tears in his eyes and he took her leave..!!

its well written, no doubt!! the message of this story is to trust ppl. sometimes v share things wid ppl who r complete strangers to us & which we cannot wid ppl we know :)

2)time flies love stays - Neha Lalwani
this story is of a girl Heer who asks her dad to tell her how he met her mom. e narrates her the details and at the end of the story she asks him why he always said it was his fault for her mom's death... and he tells her that too..
1 important msg in this story is -
"if love is true, nothing can stop you. its nt being physical, bt love us a feeling which cannot be described in wordsm but felt from soul. you never love some1 to be loved back. you simply love!!"

i liked the message <3

3)peregrination - Aparajita Dutta

4)Maya - Swagnikaa Roy
this story is about a girl named Maya...the story in which her uncle does molestation on her when she was very young.

i felt bad abt that poor girl actually :) story is good though

5)just stay by my side - Shalini Katyal
story about an author named Preeti and CA guy Rohit!! love birds... get married... and then the problems start coming up!!
its beautifully written by her :) i heart this story the most :) :*
no details abt this one as i could connect it well and i lived the story and its also my personal experience abt the same :) the poetry she scribbed (the word frm tht story) is my most fav :)
love uh Shalini for this story.

6)love will find you - Nilesh Gowardhan
this was the FIRST story i read when i got the book, the reason was obvious - the author himself ;) he has become a nice friend of mine. so i couldn't stop myself turning to page no. 68!!

the story is a love story about Kavya's grandparents!! how they met!! and lived the love they shared :)

i liked the story a lot, but then i was expecting it to last a bit longer. it ended abruptly!! as its a nice story i wanted it to last some more!!
Nilesh, its a cute love story :*

7)a story of a revenge - Ila Garg
story if Arun, a 15-yr old guy who's dad is murdered by his own uncle for the sake of the property. the way he takes his revenge of his dad's murder!!
thrill...unexpected end...nice..well written...!! this is wat i feel about this story!!

8)why smoke cigarettes when there's oxygen - Abhijit Dahegaonkar
frankly speaking i found this story funny!! no more comments!! -_-

9)the man of wisdom - Subhanil Banerjee
the story of a guy who along with his partners loots a bank. an educated yet fails to get a job so he finds out a way to start a business by looting the bank :( he runs to Calcutta and joins sme political party n slowly after some 2-3 years becomes president and all n eh takes a decision!! a WISE decision!!
at the end the words of his father kips ringing in his ears-
"only when the last tree has been cut down, only when the last river has been poisoned, only when the last fish has been caught, only then will you find the money cannot be eaten!!"
message - money cant buy you happiness!!

10)i can never forgive you - Purnendu Chatterjee
a story which left me with a shock!! hadn't expected it to b like this :P
a story of a couple, who are in love and married.. and the bomb-blasts by a terrorist community "Al Kajia"!!
the girl turns out to b involved in it!
poor guy, he loved her a lot and cared for here and she turns out to be involved in such a brutal crime!!

11)silent beckons - Souvick Mukherjee
according to me, its a cute story. love it is!!
a guy named Arnab!! who found a girl when he had gone trkking with his friends. and she denied coming with him for some reasons. before leaving thta place he made sure that reason gets solved :)
i liked the simplicity of this stiry us <3

12)PAPA - Pulkit  Gupta
this is the story after Shalini's i loved a lot..!! lot lot lot!!
the way a husband gives divorce to his wife just because she says, she cant conceive!! (which is certainly not true) she lies and takes the blame on herself, wherein he is incapable of making her a mother and himself a father!! when they loved each other so much....
after some years when he contacts her, and asks how she passes her time as she doesnt have any baby after they both re-marry different indiviuals..!! and he found out she has a daughter and the problem was in him!!

Pulkit, hats off 2 uh!! when i finished this story, i said to myself, "such ppl deserve the way it ended!" truely a nice story.. i lubbed it... !! serioulsy, still ppl blame women for not giving a child, let alone a boy baby!! cant express the sad feeling of it. Kudos!! Pulkit!! ^_^

P.S : 
a) there are lot of printing mistakes and grammatical mistakes too.
b) i didn't get Aparajita mam's story so i haven't read it full and so didn't write about it.
c) i didn't like 8th story of smoke and oxygen.. the use of the phrases!! i found it funny!!

out of 10 i will give it a 5..!!
