POST 1 of my NAIL ART TUTORIALS (step-by-step)

This is my First ever post on my nail art designs!! In this post i will be sharing my 4 very simple nail designs and how did i get them on my nails!!

You don't really require any special tools for any of these designs and I have tried my best to keep the steps  as simple as possible, so that you all can easily get the same on your nails!!

So the first 4 designs are in this pic below :-

1)  OMBRE NAIL ART:

This was definitely my very first attempt of doing such manicure. So obviously I was a bit nervous of how it will turn out once I am finished with it.. But as you all can see, it has turned into a pretty cute one.

Okay so how did I get this mani done???

I will tell in the very few & simple steps.

Mentioned below:

1.    All you need is any two colors of your choice. I chose blue and pink.

2.   Then you need is sponge (see the pic). I bought a simple one from the general store.

3.   You have to cut this sponge into a small a piece, according to your size of nail.

4.   Apply your favorite colors on the sponge and quickly dab it on your nails. Dab it 3 to 4 times creating a gradient effect.

5.   Do this to all the nails.

6.   When it semi dries, apply a top coat so that it smoothens the look of your manicure.

And you’re done!!

P.S:  while getting this look for your nails, when you are dabbing the sponge on the nails, the polish gets applied on to the skin around the nails, so when the nail polish dries off, all you need to do is – take a cotton ear bud, dip it your polish remover and clean the surrounding areas!!

2)  POLKA DOTS :

This one is again a very simple one and this was done after watching a video on ‘YouTube’.

For this nail art all I have used is – a cello tape, white nail polish, black nail polish, silver nail polish and a painting brush (I used an eye of my teddy, since I couldn’t find anything else :D :P)

You can get this look by following these simple steps:

1.    Firstly apply a base coat on all the nails. Let it dry.

2.   Put the cello tape, in diagonal across all the fingers, covering half of the nail.

3.   Then paint the uncovered nails with black polish. Let it dry. Apply 2 to 3 coats. Make sure before applying next coat, the polish is dry properly.

4.   Once the black polish is 100% dry, take off the cello tape carefully. (Yes!! It has to b dry properly because while removing the tape, it should come off cleanly)

5.   Now with the silver paint draw a line besides the black polish.

6.   Then dip the back side of the paint brush (or eye of teddy bear or a dotting tool) into the white polish and make polka dots.

7.   Once all is dried properly, apply a top coat, and tada!! It’s done!!

3)  SIMPLE NAIL ART:

This nail art was inspired from @missjenfabulous!! I adore her work and she’s a great inspiration for me!! Her videos are simple and her collection of makeup and nail polishes is to die for!!

This nail mani, doesn’t not require any specific tools. All you need is – purple polish, golden polish and white nail art pen (this pen you can easily get in any cosmetic shop and it is as cheap as 30 rupees)

To get this look, follow these steps:

1.    Apply a base coat.

2.   Once dry, apply purple polish. Apply 2 to 3 coats. Let the, dry properly.

3.   Take your golden polish, I have used Maybelline’s Golden Glitter, and in a single stroke stripe it in the center of your nail. Do these to all nails.

4.   Let the golden polish dry. Apply 2-3 coats to make it look darker.

5.   Once the golden polish is dry, take your nail art pen, open it and with help of the brush (see the pic) draw lines alongside the golden polish. And then draw the design inside these white stripes. Repeat this to all nails.

6.   Once dry, finish it with a top coat!!

4) SPRING FLOWER NAIL ART:

This one again was inspired from @missjenfabulous!! This one was the prettiest nail art in this group, and not only I adored this mani, but all my friends and my aunt adored this one!!

This is the simplest and you don’t require anything but the polish – pink for the base, white for petals, green for the leaf and yellow for the dot of the flower!!

The steps to get this cute mani are:

1.    Apply the pink polish as the base. Apply 2 to 3 coats.

2.   Once dry, take the white polish and simply put 5 small dots forming a circle, making the petals of the flower. Do this to all nails.

3.   Once dry, repeat the step 2. Dotting the already made dots. Do this 2 or maximum 3 times. (This for the puffiness of the flower, nothing else) be careful while doing this step so as to not to spoil the 1^st dot of the flower.

4.   Let these white dots dry.

5.   Once dry, draw a small leaf on each side of the flower with the green polish.

6.   End this design by making small dots with yellow polish inside the white petals!!
