Ae Dil Hai Mushkil - A story of Unrequited Love !!
A beautiful story of one sided love... A story that makes you smile,
cry, gives hope, explains love and friendship, and in the end, leaves a void
inside of you...
Ae Dil
Hai Mushkil is one such movie which will stir all the emotions in you and
leave you thinking, what is more important, love or friendship?
One sided love, as SRK rightly said in the movie, it is the most
beautiful feeling in the world, unlike other feelings; it is not shared between
two people, but limited only for that one person who is in love. It is his/her
right. No one can take that feeling away.
The story of this movie would be really understood by those few,
who have, in real gone through such similar feelings, situations or unrequited
love.
In the movie too, till the very end, Ranbir Kapoor (Ayan) doesn't
give up... He wants a love from Alizeh, who in fact considers Ayan only as her
friend... She loves him, definitely, but only as a friend... Not as a lover...
Surely he is friend-zoned, as we would call it as, but there’s a beautiful
dialogue by Anushka - pyaar junoon hai, aur dosti sukoon hai! This means, love
is madness whereas friendship is peace! This in itself defines the quality of
love that embodies in a friendship, that it provides you peace.
When love dies, it is easy to recover that loss, but when a
friendship dies, it’s tough, way more tough...
I am at a loss of words here, for what the movie means to me, and
many people across the globe who have, atleast experienced once, what one sided
love feels like..
The songs of the movie are all amazing, from 'The Breakup Song' to
'Ae Dil Hai mushkil'...
The shairi (or shayari or poetry or couplets) are amazing too...
Aishwarya looked fabulous on
screen and can still make numerous hearts skip their beats with her gorgeous
looks..
Ranbir Kapoor too, did a nice
job.. But I still feel, he is a kiddo, even off screen..
Anuskha Sharma did an amazing
job too.. With a typical Muslim-like looks - with those surma eyes, jhumkas,
and simple dressing.. I loved her..
And finally, Fawad Khan,
who got much more popularity because of the ban on Pakistani artists, but
either way he looked like a Prince Charming..
SRK and Alia Bhatt did guest
appearances, and SRK did nothing but steal hearts with these 2 lines he said...
Whereas Alia, the always bubby girl, did a good job of an on screen DJ!
All and all, I liked the movie... KJo did a nice job with the story here !!
