The boy with a broken heart is the second of the 2-part romance
series; the first being – The boy who loved.
As much depressing as the part one of the story was, part two
turned out to be quite interesting (and less depressing! Yay!)
The story starts with an introduction of a new character –
Advaita Vaid, a cute girl in her teen age, with puppy eyes and child-like behavior.
The story mostly revolves around her and her family, which consists
of her parents and her elder sister – Divya Vaid.
Of course, there are some villain family members like the
grandfather, her aunt and uncle and the guy who is bubbling with vengeance against
Divya and literally ruins the life of both the sisters!
A little too much of drama and unrealistic occurrence of events
with the trouble the small family has to go through time and again, that at one
small point of time, you’d feel like skipping a few lines.
But worry not! The story has good balance of teenage love, friendship, ups and down, unity among the small family, betrayal and courage. In short, a complete Bollywood masala movie material!

For most parts, you’ll find yourself intrigued with the story the
protagonist has to tell you and you can’t help but flip page after page to find
the ‘happy ending’.
But, would you find one?
The answer to the question is – no, you won’t!
Like the previous part, this one too is a story told through the pages of diary; only this time it is told by Advaita.
However, this time, Durjoy Datta, doesn’t fail to make the story
edgy until you reach to the end of it. One can find the twist in the story only
until the last page!
I won’t spoil it by revealing what it is, but you'll have to find it on your own.
Maybe, you’d find the part one a little bit dragging and depressing, but as soon as you finish it, grab this book for continuation! I’m sure you’ll want to know the entry of our lover boy – Raghu Ganguly and how the 2 parts of 1 story starts to interweave into one captivating one.

4.5 stars out of 5 for this one, definitely, because the last two
pages made me flip for more!
Alas! There wasn't anything to flip for and quite saddening there's no information revealing if there would be continuation or not.

I don’t know if there would be a 3rd part of the story,
yet, but hopefully, there is, so we can, finally rejoice and expect a happy
ending for the boy who once loved and with a broken heart finds true love and story ends well on a happy note.
