Mostly it is assumed Marathi films or even its music is very local and many of the people don't even listen to 80% of the songs released by Marathi film industry rest alone go and watch that movie!

We thought Sairat, the very recent Marathi movie who won our hearts, not only by the famous couple - Parshya and Archi, but also its songs which are everyone's favourite, is the movie of the year... Until, the song, BABA, came from the movie - Ventilator.

This song is sung by none other but our dear PeeCee! Yes, Priyanka Chopra has given her 1st debut song in Marathi in the movie, which is produced by her/her mom.

A tribute to all the fathers out there, who for every child is very important.. For girls, most of them, a dad is her 1st love and hero in her life, this song surely be dedicatation for them..

Very often, we hear songs made on Mom, but rarely is a song made on Dad; who has equal if not more role in a child's life.

The lyrics of this song will touch your hearts.. For sure..

PeeCee, who is Daddy's little girl herself, has not kept any stoned un-turned while singing this beautiful, mesmerising tune... Despite being a non Maharashtrian, Priyanka has sung this song too well, no accent, and no tongue rolling words!

It's just a perfect blend of emotions and soulfulness and we think she truly deserves a bow down for this one. Not to mention, the lyrics and the music too of this song are so touching that you will be overwhelmed the minute you hear it. What a heart-touching composition.

Trust me, few seconds into the song and you would be choked with memories you’ve shared with your dad. Thank you Priyanka for making us nostalgic in the most beautiful way…
